Passion Week: Approach

Mary anoints Jesus’ feet with expensive perfume. Judas objects. Jesus defends her.

The chief priests plan to kill Lazarus as well, because many were believing in Jesus because of him.

Jesus enters Jerusalem on a donkey. The crowds shout “Hosanna to the Son of David!”

Jesus enters Jerusalem on a colt. People spread cloaks and branches and shout “Hosanna!”

Jesus rides a colt into Jerusalem. The disciples praise God. Jesus weeps over the city.

The crowd takes palm branches and goes out to meet Jesus, shouting “Hosanna!”

Jesus drives out those who were selling in the temple and heals the blind and lame.

Jesus drives out the sellers and money changers. He will not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple.

Jesus curses a barren fig tree. The next day it is withered. He teaches about faith and prayer.

Some Greeks wish to see Jesus. He speaks about His coming death and being lifted up.

Despite many signs, many do not believe. Jesus cries out about believing in Him and the Father who sent Him.
